What exactly are “indemnity,” “defense” and “hold harmless” clauses and how do I revise those terms for my own benefit?
Can I be held liable for the work of other contractors and subcontractors on a project? How do I eliminate this liability?
Can I be forced to perform work without a written change order?
Can I be required to wait for the general contractor to be paid before I get paid?
How do I convince the owner or general contractor that my proposed changes should be accepted?
What should I do if the owner or general contractor will not accept my proposed changes?
